Body strap
Cover layer: Directly in contact with the material, it must exhibit wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and tear resistance (e.g., made of rubber, PVC, PU, etc.).
Skeleton layer: Provides strength and stability; common materials include canvas (cotton, nylon, polyester) and steel wire rope.
Bottom layer: In contact with the drive roller, it must be slip-resistant and wear-resistant; some designs incorporate tread patterns to enhance friction.
Drive System
It comprises an electric motor, a reducer, and a drive roller, which propel the conveyor belt via friction.
Supporting device
Idler assemblies: support the conveyor belt and the conveyed material, reduce running resistance, and are available in flat, troughed, and self-aligning types.
Support frame: secures the idler set to ensure smooth conveyor belt operation.
Auxiliary components
Tensioning device: adjusts conveyor belt tension to prevent slippage or excessive stretching.
Scraper: Removes material adhering to the belt to prevent contamination or damage.
Side-guard device: prevents material from spilling laterally and is suitable for inclined conveying applications.
